  はきて吸ふ　そのひと息に　筆を乗せ　形を尽し　心を伝ふ

  Jesus is Crucified.:
  People passing by shook their heads and hurled insults at Jesus; Save yourself if 
  you are God's Son! Come on down from the cross! In the same way the chief priests 
  and the teachers of the Law and the elders made fun of him:"He saved others, but 
  he cannot save himself! if he will come down off the cross now, we will believe in him! 
  He trusts in God and claims to be God's Son. Well, then, let us see if God wants to save him now!."
  At noon the whole country was covered with darkness, which lasted for three hours. At about three 
  o'clock Jesus cried out with a loud shout, "Eli, Eli, lema sabachtani?" which means 
  "My God, My God, why did you abandon me?"  --------

  外面似菩薩、内面如夜叉:  げめんじぼさつ、ないめんにょやしゃ
  
  Externally Bosatsu, Internally Yasha. ( Kind face and false heart.) 
  ( a wolf in sheep’s clothing).
  A face without faith will always fail yourself.

  A tree and its fruits:
  Be on your guard against the false prophets; they come to you looking like sheep on the outside, 
  but on the inside they are really like wild wolves. You will know them by what they do. Thorn 
  bushes do not bear grapes and briers do not bear figs.(M7)

  侘・詫・寂・銹－－－茶道の心得（わび、さび）虚飾・偽善を戒める（自戒）
  How terrible for you, teachers of the Law and Pharisees! You hypocrites! You clean the outside 
  of your cup and plate, while the inside is full of what you have gotten by violence and selfishness.
  Blind Pharisees! Clean what is inside the cup first and then the outside will be clean too! 
  "How terrible for you, teachers of the Law and Pharisees! You hypocrites! 
  You are like whitewashed tombs, which look fine on the outside but are full of bones and decaying 
  corpses on the inside. In the same way, on the outside you appear good to everybody, but inside 
  you are full of hypocrisy and sins. (M23)





  Keep the commandments if you want to enter life.
  諸悪莫作  衆善奉行  自淨其意  是諸仏教　（法句経）
  もろもろの悪をなすなかれ、 もろもろの善を行いまつれ、　
　おのずから 心浄（きよ）まらむ、 これ諸仏の教えなり。
 
  Once a man came to Jesus. “Teacher,” he asked, “What good things must 
  I do to receive eternal life?”“Why do you ask me concerning what is 
  good?” answered Jesus. “There is only One who is good. Keep the commandments if 
  you want to enter life.”
 “What commandments?” he asked.
  Jesus answered, “Do not commit murder; do not commit adultery; do not steal; do not accuse anyone 
  falsely; respect your father and your mother; and love your neighbor as you love yourself.”(M19)
 “Teacher,” he asked, “which is the greatest commandment in the Law?”
  Jesus answered, ”love the Lord, your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your
  mind.’This is the greatest and the most important commandment. The second most important commandment 
  is like it: 'Love your neighbor as you love yourself.’ The whole Law of Moses and the teachings of 
  the prophets depend on these two commandments.”

  Jesus again gave gave a loud cry and breathed his last. Then the 
  curtain hanging in the Temple was torn in two from top to bottom. 
  The earth shook, the rocks split apart, the graves broke open, 
  and many of God's people who had died were raised to life. They left the graves, and 
  after Jesus rose from death, they went into the Holy City, where many people saw them. When 
  the army officer and the soldiers with him who were watching Jesus sawthe earthquake anbd 
  everything else that happened, they were terrified and said,"He really was the Son of God."(M27)

                     Conscience be of much science.


    悲しいことではあるが、完全に善なる存在になるのは不可能である。食物連鎖の
    例を見ても、弱肉強食・自然淘汰の現実を見ても、明らかである。しかし、
    叡智を傾けて行動すれば、弱肉強食などが、利己主義者の戯言に過ぎないことが
    実証できるかもしれない。良心の徒が真の科学を自覚し、研究すればの話である。
                 (For a man of conscience be of much science.)
    
    往々にして、科学だけが一人歩きして、良心が埋没してしまいがちなのが、人類
    の歴史であった。釈迦や孔子、ソクラテス、キリストなどが、良心に従っての
    勇気ある生き方を実践してみせたのだが、やはり、焼け石に水となって、却って
    彼等の哲学・慈悲の教えが曲解悪用されて、今日の紛争の原因となっているのは、
    泣くにも泣けない悲しい事実である。彼等ですら、無理なのだから、私達には
    とても無理な話なのだろうか。

Salt & Light:  If salt loses its saltiness, there is no way to make it salty again. It has become worthless, 
so it is thrown out and people trample on it. You're like light for the whole world. No one lights a lamp and 
puts it under a bowl; instead he puts it on the lampstand, where it gives light for everyone in the house. 
In the same way your light must shine before people, so that they will see the good things you do.(M 5)
